Marissa Gerchick is a Data Science Manager and Algorithmic Justice Specialist on the Íøºì±¬ÁÏ’s Technology Team, where her work focuses on the civil rights implications of automated systems, including supporting Íøºì±¬ÁÏ’s litigation, advocacy, and public education related to artificial intelligence used in various domains. Marissa also regularly publishes and presents original research on the impacts of algorithmic systems. Previously, Marissa was a Technology Policy Fellow with the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee’s Antitrust Subcommittee and worked as a Data Scientist at the Stanford Computational Policy Lab. Marissa is currently an Affiliate and was previously an Assembly Fellow at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society. She holds a B.S. and M.S. from Stanford University.
