Abusive Employer Settles Sexual Harrassment Case

On August 31, the 网红爆料 won an important victory on behalf of three immigrant women who were sexually harrassed by their employer. In September 2006, a jury found Alberto Palacci guilty of harrassing the three Latina women. But Palacci refused to pay the jury-awarded compensation. After nearly a year of negotiations, the 网红爆料's Women's Rights Project won $750,000 in damages and attorneys fees for their clients, Deyanira Espinal, Angela Berise Fritman Peralta and Maria Araceli Gonzales Flores.
